Re-Imagine

As July gives way to August, this time has always, to me, been the time of change. The month to let go and re-imagine the next half.

As the winds of seasonal change pepper us with the dust of ancient grounds, the nectar gathers in the roots singing stories of the year that was and the year coming, the ice crystals fall from the stars, cloaking as if in a robe of glitter, Nature takes a breath in and holds reforming the blueprint to express in the next half of the year. We too could take a moment to gather the particles of ourselves to re-imagine ourselves.

Winter is usually this time where Nature is internal, breaking down matter to its components to be dissolved, integrated and re-formulated into a new leaf, nectar for new flowers or the fresh bark that stretches over and protects the new growth. This is a great inspiration that may support our self as we emerge into the new season.

It is not so much asking ourselves the question 'what can I let go of?' it may be more about just letting go of what it is that has kept a way of thinking, an attitude no longer needed, allowing the self to not need to know anything. In these moments; when we truly allow the thought attitude for example to release the form it was holding to to be as particles of fundamental components that release as if dust. And from this dust is a resource that has the components to build, re-imagine, the possibility of faith. Not as we have known it.

Coming back from the state of metanoia* is an opportunity to allow things to formulate as they are, as it is. Consider allowing yourself to be yourself. To be as you be, with no need to change the outcome. There is no image we can imagine that we can be. Try not to see in your mind's eye an image of yourself from the past or potential future. Allow yourself to be as you are, now. Not the image overlay of one you may think you know of yourself, one you may have been in the past, this life or another or one you have seen in others. This is an image not matter how 'good' of how it was before you are in this moment, not as it is.

To shed as if like dust.

Once you are able to hold the image of your as you are now, just observe. Allow the thoughts, emotions and sensations, that you have held in your body about yourself as you are now, to be as if dust. Shedding from the body, lifting, into the light and being transformed in the increasing power of the sun. Just observe and let go. This can be an enlightening process. and it is a process you can return to at anytime.

To be as you are now and to be in sync with that, even if just for a moment, allows you a greater canvas upon which you can bring what it is you are bringing into this life by just being you. It is like you have step out of your own way, you have cleared a path and now able to administer what it is that your being most needs to maintain the whole being.

What is the nectar you can now access to nourish the new growth, the flowering, the fruit? What is the best nourishment to maintain the integrity of the bark, the physical body sheath? Have you created space to ensure the balance of growth has a best path to follow?

frost winter morning
The breath of Nature revealed on the new growth.

It at times feels as if you are a seed under the warming layer of Earth making decisions, preparing for emergence, fueled in the re-imagining. A very powerful time that we maybe able to access for supporting us, as a child of Nature, growing and supporting life.

Though here in our Southern part of the globe we experience the chill, there is something magical in our inner world at this time. Our bush has something, I'm sure exists everywhere, though in my brief touches in spending time in the landscape in the northern hemisphere, I feel our bush has something that seems part of its conscious not as clear or apparent in other globe locations. Stillness, and a permeable silence that feels deeply sacred.

Sometimes I feel our eroded ancient land has let go of so much that as we stand on the surface it is as if we are close to something indefinable that is alive within our earthly sphere. The plants and trees embody this energy and uplift it above the surface creating as if an atmosphere, amazing.

Going into Nature and spend some space and time to reimagine, our bush is a naturally supportive energy accessible to all of us. Even if you are in a busy place with many people enjoying nature. Find a space, and if you just tune inward it is as if whatever the still silence that has permeated our landscape envelopes the outer sounds and holds them in their own space. At this time, I can't find better words at this time, but it feels as if.

Silent stillness nourish the light within

To be awake in the early dark hours of the morning with the full moon illuminating the silence. The air so still, each breath you take is transformed before leaving your body in to crystals of ice. To see the ice crystals from each plant being formed from the roots to the very tips of the upper leaves, sparkling and shining in the moonlight. The air feels so full of potential awaiting the breath out. I feels as if a bridge has extended from the stars and we are invited to share within a universal connection present on Earth. This is a time to re-imagine. What images, words things we tell ourselves will form on our breath out?

Questions to ask ourselves as we look into the moon reflected light, what image do we see in this mirror? Be gentle, forgive, have gratitude and love lots.

Sending Love to all at this time.

Kathleen
